Neapolitan in handheld form, with the three flavours running as stripes along the bar rather than as blocks in a tub. The striped edge is visible from the side, which is most of the appeal. Keeping them as stripes rather than blending them means a bite crosses all three at once instead of taking them one at a time, which is the opposite of how a Neapolitan tub gets eaten. Anyone who wanted to avoid the strawberry has no way to do it here. The wafers soften at the edges where they meet the ice cream while the centre stays cold, which is how every ice cream sandwich behaves and the reason the biscuit is baked soft rather than crisp.
