Boysenberry swirl runs through ice cream inside a chocolate-lined wafer cone, with Peters using the same cone format across the Drumstick range. Here the filling shifts to a tart, dark purple berry ripple rather than caramel, chocolate or other sweeter combinations. Boysenberry is one of those distinctly Australasian flavours, sitting somewhere between blackberry and raspberry in taste and colour. White vanilla, dark berry swirl, crisp cone, and a thin chocolate lining inside the wafer create a simple contrast. As you eat down through the cone, the ratio shifts toward more chocolate lining and less ice cream, finishing with a solid chocolate plug at the bottom.
