Ice cream sold as a block that cuts into rectangles has an obvious appeal for anyone who wants a set amount rather than scooping until it looks about right. Butter or cream sits well down the ingredient list rather than near the top, which is the trade the whole Light & Creamy range makes. Milk provides the volume and a smaller amount of fat carries the flavour.
