Milo turns up in Australian freezers in several formats, and the tub is the one that treats it as a flavour rather than a novelty. Milo itself is listed at 7%, as a formulated supplementary food, which is the actual powder rather than a malt flavouring standing in for it. That's a high inclusion, and it needs to be. Malt is a subtle flavour that gets duller when frozen, so a tub needs considerably more of it than a coated stick would to still read as Milo. Choc pieces run through the ice cream for texture. The malt extract comes from barley, rice and wheat, the same base Milo uses as a drink powder. Sold as a 1.2 litre tub.
