Polar Pie is the current name for a product Peters sold as Eskimo Pie for decades, renamed as that word fell out of acceptable use. The product itself is unchanged: plain vanilla under a chocolate coating. Cream sits second in the ingredient list, straight after water and ahead of sugar, which is more dairy than most coated sticks at this end of the freezer carry. There's nothing else to it. No swirl, no nuts, no biscuit. It's the baseline against which every other coated vanilla stick gets judged, which is a fair part of why it has stayed on shelves through a name change and several decades of everything around it being reinvented.
