Twin Pole Pineapple Raspberry

What is it?

A water ice with no dairy in it, pairing sweet raspberry against tangy pineapple on the standard twin pole. The colour is worth a look. Elderberry juice concentrate is in the ingredient list doing the red, and colour 160a is beta-carotene for the yellow, so both come from plant sources rather than synthetic dye. Elderberry is a common choice for this because it holds its colour at freezing temperatures where some fruit pigments go dull. There's no fruit juice in it despite the flavour names, just water, sugar, food acid and flavouring. That's the clearest difference between a twin pole and something like Frosty Fruits, which leads on juice content instead. The pole splits into two halves down the middle.
