A warm toasted bagel filled with rasher bacon, egg, cheese and hollandaise sauce. This is the Canadian contribution to the May 2026 International Menu Heist, and it is McDonald's fast food translation of eggs benedict. The hollandaise is what earns the "Benny" name, bringing the rich, buttery sauce of a cafe brunch to a drive-through breakfast. Bagels themselves are a nostalgic item for Australian McDonald's customers, having disappeared from the local breakfast menu years ago. During the promotion it ran on an extended breakfast window until 11:30am, a half hour longer than the standard breakfast cutoff.
