What is it?

Two beef patties sit inside a three-part sesame seed bun, with the middle bun acting as a divider. McDonald’s builds it with special sauce, shredded lettuce, American cheese, pickles and minced onion. The sauce is creamy with a tangy, slightly sweet edge, and the pickles and onion bring sharper notes. Among McDonald’s burgers, this one is defined by that stacked format rather than by a thicker patty or a grilled finish. In Australia, it’s a standard menu item at Macca’s, usually served wrapped for take-away or eaten straight away.
