The Cheesy McCrispy runs the same idea as the rest of McDonald's Cheesy range over chicken instead of beef. Crispy 100% Aussie chicken sits under a golden cheesy patty, with melted cheese, lettuce, creamy McChicken sauce and tomato chilli jam on a soft bun. Two crumbed layers in one burger is the whole proposition. The chicken brings one crunch and the cheesy patty brings another, and because both are fried it eats dense rather than light. Lettuce and the chilli jam are what keep it from reading as a single long note. Set against the standard McCrispy, the differences are the cheesy patty and the jam. The chicken and the bun are unchanged, so the comparison between the two burgers is direct in a way that most limited-time variants aren't. It launched on 19 August 2026 with the Cheesy Double Quarter Pounder, on a range that last appeared in Australia in 2023.
