Espresso gets blended with ice, milk, and hazelnut flavouring, then finished with whipped cream. Result is a chilled drink with a light, creamy body and a toasty, nutty note running through the coffee. Compared with the other Deluxe iced coffees in McDonald's range, it follows the same base formula and swaps in hazelnut syrup for the flavour. Served cold and built for drinking through a straw, it's closer to a dessert-style coffee than a straight iced long black. Hazelnut adds warmth without bitterness, and the whipped cream layer on top softens each sip before the coffee underneath comes through. It's a sweet, cold drink first and a coffee second.
