Double Cheeseburger

What is it?

Two beef patties, two slices of processed cheese, pickles, diced onion, mustard and ketchup sit on a plain bun here. It’s the same basic build as McDonald’s Cheeseburger, just with an extra patty and extra cheese, so the cheese lands between the patties as well as over the top one. In Australia, this sits in the middle of the McDonald’s cheeseburger line-up, above the single Cheeseburger and below the larger burgers. It’s a small, soft bun sandwich rather than a toasted bun or sesame seed build, and it comes assembled for eating straight away.
