Chicken McNuggets with a golden coating seasoned with a bold mix of garlic and black pepper. These arrived as the second Japanese item in the May 2026 International Menu Heist promotion, which brought a rotating cast of overseas McDonald's items to Australian stores for a limited run. Seasoned nugget variants are a regular event in Japan, where limited flavours drop several times a year, but Australia's nuggets have stayed plain since they launched. The seasoning is baked into the coating rather than dusted on top, so the garlic and pepper come through in every bite without the mess of a shaker bag.
