Baconator Fries

What is it?

Natural-cut fries get piled with warm cheese sauce, applewood-smoked bacon pieces, and shredded cheddar. Wendy’s uses the same Baconator name it puts on burgers, but here it’s a fry format, with the toppings sitting on top instead of built into a sandwich. Fresh from the fryer, the top layer turns soft under the sauce while the fries underneath stay firmer. Bacon adds smoke and salt, and the shredded cheese melts just enough to cling to the hot fries. It’s served as a side or shareable snack, and it’s meant to be eaten right away.
