Sweet, smoky, and a little boozy, the bourbon bacon sauce on this Wendy's burger is made with real bourbon and real bacon. It coats a quarter-pound fresh beef patty on a toasted bun, alongside American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, and crispy fried onions. That sauce sets it apart from the chain's other bacon cheeseburgers, while everything else stays in familiar fast-food territory with melted cheese, soft bun, and crisp bacon in the mix. Wendy's brought it back after its 2021 debut, then retired it again in 2023.
